About Giclee Prints

How to protect your Giclee Print

The giclee print is the closest replica to the original drawing that is technically possible. Suggestions that follow will help you protect your art print. If properly cared for, the print will last for 70 or more years.

  • Do not place any object on top of your print
  • Take care not to scratch its surface.
  • Do not bend. Pick it up with the provided support board.
  • Frame it under glass using mat-and-hinge technique. Use archival materials only.
  • Do not hang in direct sunlight.
  • Keep away from heat.
